I have been digging around the radishes and noticed these two were ready. The lettuces that grew from the previous people who had the garden were spaced way too close together so we are going to eat some of the trimmings in a salad with store-bought Basil. I really really hope the basil we planted will turn out.

Yesterday I acquired a Southern Night Heirloom tomato and a Best Boy Determinate tomato from a fellow gardener in exchange for one of the Anaheim peppers I had grown. I still don't know where to plant these. I am tempted to plant them in containers in the garden.
